ART!

Last Friday, the grade 3, 4, 5 classes did art. We did art with pastels. Mrs. Dressel and Mr. Eastman got the idea from this guy named Ted Harrison. He does a lot of art with pastels. He does a lot of winter art. We saw a lot of his art. They are really pretty. He used a lot of mountains, rivers, lakes, oceans and a lot of other things.

Art

Last Friday we had art class and we did it Ted Harrison style! Ted Harrison usually does northern paintings that are really colourful. A lot of time, there is green snow or black clouds! I had a lot of fun doing Ted Harrison style art! All the swervy lines join into mosaics in the nights sky. Everything looks so cool!

Art Work Fun!

On Friday, our class got to do art in the style of Ted Harrison. We got to do our art work in pastels. His pictures take place up in the North of Canada. His pictures are all bright, with lots of squiggly lines for the sky. A lot of his pictures have a lot of detail like what we did in our classroom.

Ted Harrison Art

On Friday, we did Ted Harrison art. We used pastels and we coloured in the lines that we drew on the paper. Then we had to pick different colours to make the picture colourful. We looked at some books about Ted Harrison. We also looked on the Internet.

My Art Day

On Friday January 22, 2010, we made some art with squiggly lines like Ted Harrison's art. When we made ours, it was like the arctic or on a sunny day. Our whole class had so much fun. Now, here are all the steps.
1. Draw some squiggly lines with a pencil.
2. Go over the pencil with a black marker.
3. Next, colour with pastels.
4. Put your name on the back and now you're done!
