Ms. Strathy is a very nice student teacher! I hope that some day she will be our full teacher.

Ms. Strathy is teaching us social studies and we got to throw bean bags at our smart board. It was so fun!!!!!!!!!! Ms. Strathy teaches us almost every subject. But our class is really sad because she will have to go

really soon :(

In the grade 4 class, we did a koosh ball activity which is when you throw a bean bag at the Smart board. Some of the questions were - what are the oceans around Canada? What are the regions in Canada? What are the three pairie provinces? I'm in a stampede. Where am i? Those are just some of the questions and when you throw the beanbag you have to throw it at a big circle so it depends which circle you get for what question you get. It is really fun!

Canada

In Mrs. Dressel's class we are learning about Canada and on Tuesday we were having a test about Canada. For a review we had different coloured spots on the Smartboard. We had a bean bag and what we did with the bean bag was we all had a turn to throw the bean bag at the Smartboard on one of the coloured spots. Each coloured spot had a question about Canada in it that we had to anwser. If we could not answer the question we could ask a friend for help.

CANADA IN OUR CLASS

In social studies we have been learning about Canada. In this unit we have been learning about the provinces and teritorries. We have also been learning about the Cordillera, the Interior Plains, the Arctic Lowlands, the Canadian Shield, the Hudson Bay Lowlands, the St. Lawrence Lowlands and the Appalachian Region. Since we know a lot about Canada, we are doing songs for a province or teritorry. We got to pick by pulling a province or teritorry. Hannah, Taylor,and Alyssa got Alberta. For our song we are doing a rap/pop and we also have some actions and we have to perform it to the whole class today! We hope we rock the class!!!!!!!!!
